Drones Made in Noida Deployed for Rescue Operations in Wayanad
Drones manufactured in Noida were deployed for relief and rescue operations in Kerala’s Wayanad district, following two landslides on July 30 that resulted in over 300 deaths and many missing. QuickPay Pvt Ltd, based in Noida’s Sector 2, dispatched four DIBODS (Drone-based Intelligent Buried Object Detection System) from the Hindon IAF base to Calicut. These drones are capable of detecting heat signatures up to 30 meters deep in soil and water. Equipped with advanced subsoil scanner technology, these drones are instrumental in locating survivors and buried objects under adverse condition. Drone operations near the Chaliyar river were carried out to recover bodies washed downstream by swollen rivers.
